SMEDA Publications

The absence of a specific mechanism for provision of SME focused information in the country retards entrepreneurs in making business decisions on one hand and obstructs process of effective policy making and implementation on the other. SMEDA's research and publications aim to bridge this gap through disseminating high quality research and providing knowledge based support to various stakeholders. Our Research work highlights dynamics, challenges and prospects of different SME sectors of Pakistan and provides concrete data and analysis to policy makers for facilitating informed policy formulation and monitoring its effectiveness. Information about market opportunities in current and emerging markets, trade and price trends, raw materials, regulatory environment and macro-economic indicators etc. serve as a business intelligence tool for entrepreneurs to take effective decisions.

Small & Medium Enterprise Development Authority, SMEDA, has initiated a process of articles, books & other publications to create awareness among the general public on optimal business practices, regulatory issues, GOP schemes, new business concepts, etc
